Didn't expect to like a fruity, sweet wine (I'm usually a cabernet drinker), but this wine was so tasty, we bought a case of it!! Lovely experience, very nice little winery, friendly people.

My now husband introduced me to this wine a couple years ago; because I'm from the area where this wine is made, I had this weird notion that it couldn't be any good. I mean, come on, wine from South Dakota?!?! But I really like this wine! It's tart with a strong taste of rhubarb (duh, right?) and a hint of raspberries. Very easy to drunk, er drink.
This is my new favorite wine! It's billed as semi-sweet, but I thought it was a little sweeter than that. This wine is redolent with pears and something I can't define. I think I'll just call it "luscious".
Love it. No, it's not snooty, but so easy to drink. A really great summer wine.
