The total area of the domaine is 11 hectares, distributed in different parcels located in the districts of Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and, of course Meursault. All the vineyards were cultivated following organic agricultural practices from 1992 to 1997, at the end of this period the domaine became 100% biodynamic.
Pineapple and tropical notes on the nose along with a bit of lavender. First taste brings grapefruit yielding to almonds and vanilla. This wine had less minerality and acid than I expected. There was body and smooth mouth feel but it felt a bit flabby to me. As it warmed and opened up, this wine was reminiscent of California Chardonnay. I'd drink this again but would look for a good price on the bottle.
