This is a pretty wine. It is medium bodied, not over-extracted, and it has a really long finish on mid- and rear palate. The nose is earthy and filled with red fruit. The wine has two layers: the acidity and cocoa gives way to round black cherry, black raspberry, and plum flavors. 2009 seems the right time to drink it.
