A blend of mostly Loureiro (aka Loureira in Spain), complemented with Trajadura (aka Treixadura in Spain) and Pederna (aka Arinto). The nose is very aromatic with jasmine flowers very prominent, ripe green melon, kiwi, pineapple and green apple. They palate is fresh and zesty with yummy citrus fruit and tart apples. The wine is slightly off dry, light bodied, it has a fun light effervescence which is a classic trait, the finish is quick juicy and bright. This wine is an indelible quaffer at only 10% abv, you could toss a whole bottle back and not even flinch. A great match for spicy ceviche, spicy Asian, Indian food, and Latin flavors with some heat. One of the best Vinho Verde's for the price about $9 US. I spilled some red wine on my white carpet and did not have any wine away so I doused it with the Vinho Verde and cleaned up very nice. Talk about versatility what's not to love. 5/5

A blend of mostly Loureiro (aka Loureira in Spain), complemented with Trajadura (aka Treixadura in Spain) and Pederna (aka Arinto). A pale yellow with a greenish tinge, very aromatic and youthful with notes of jasmine flowers, lemon and lime citrus zest. The wine is medium dry, light to medium bodied, with tart acidity, a medium finish, and a slight prickly effervescence. Very flavorful palate with pineapple, citrus fruit and granny smith apples. This is the perfect summer wine, easy to drink, low in alcohol, and dirt cheap at less than $10 a bottle so grab a few bottles and a bunch of friends. I suspect this wine would be delicious with sushi, seafood, and spicy tapas. A perfect wine for its class! 5/5
