Steven Tanzer
92/100
April 2008
Under the brilliant supervision of wine-maker Yves Confuron, this famous estate has been making some of the best Pommards since 1999. They key to the excellence of the Courcel Pommards is a combination of superb vineyard locations and equally fine vineyard management. Steve Tanzer describes it as fat, sweet and dense with a distinctively firm, classically Pommard texture.
