Not bad for cheap Sauv.
Crisp, light. Citrus in good balance with other flavors. The citrus wasn't specifically grapefruity to me. It did not overpower.
Grapefruit. Not my style.
This is a fantastic summer wine. Ripe with grapefruit and citrus, maybe a little melon. I can drink by the bottle.
Great summer dinner party wine
One of my favorite everyday whites.

There are 48,000 cases of the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc Pomelo (100% Sauvignon Blanc aged in stainless steel), a Sauvignon fruit bomb. Slightly softer than the more classic examples of this varietal, it is loaded with melon and other tropical fruits. Fruity, soft, round and generously endowed, it will provide pleasure over the next year.
Wonderful grapefruit and figgy nose. This wine explodes with delicious flavors of fig, apple and grapefruit. It is as though one were biting into a big piece of yummy fruit. It also has a lovely textural mouth feel.
What a delicious Sauvignon Blanc, and look at that everyday price. It’s so easy to like the creamy, yet tart flavors of peaches, with a slight touch of sour lees for complexity. From Mason Cellars, with a case production of 48,000.
Proprietor/winemaker Randy Mason's fruity, lively, vibrant 2008 Sauvignon Blanc Pomelo is a fruit-driven Sauvignon that sees no barrel fermentation or lees aging. Loaded with fruit (grapefruit and citrus), it is a joy to drink over the next year.

Vivid passion fruit, lime peel, guava and quince flavors are refreshingly juicy and light-bodied, with good focus and a distinctive mineral note. Drink now.
Best Value - Wine Spectator"A lip-smacking, vivid style, with passion fruit, lime zest and green papaya notes that are fragrant, crisp and clear. Light-bodied, with a touch of fresh grass and herb, which give this more personality. Drink now." -Aug. 31, 2010
100% Sauvignon Blanc, primarily sourced from Lake County. Fermented in all stainless steel tanks; extremely long and cold ferment allows for the fragrant and big fruit flavors to be appreciated. The crisp acidity is retained and then rounded out and complimented by a broadened mouth and ever-slight sweetness. Tasting notes: A mouth-watering, vivid style; this wine explodes with delicious flavors of passion fruit, guava, quince, lime peel; with an intensely grapefruit nose. Not yet reviewed; 2011 vintage rated 88 points and 'Best Buy' by Wine Enthusiast: This is a large-production Sauvignon Blanc that tastes delicious. If you like grapefruit and pomelo flavors, you will love this enticingly priced white that's got razor sharp acidity, a touch of New Zealand-like grass and a long finish.
