Aromas of cherries and blackberries mingling with floral scents. Medium-bodied, fruit-forward with notes of truffles and sweet fruits.
Rosso di Montepulciano D.O.C. 2007 - 90 Points & Listed Among 100 Best Buys of 2010, Wine & Spirits/ It's hard to imagine a friendlier wine: Between this Rosso's scent of truffled earth and the sweet fruit that bursts out in the end, this is the kind of old-fashioned Tuscan red that may well make you smile. It's bright, contrasting a robust tannic spiciness that accelerates through the finish... Listed Among 100 Best Buys of 2010.
Asinone 2004 & 2005/ The single-vineyard 2004 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Asinone reveals beguiling aromatics. With air, layers of vibrant dark fruit, tar, smoke, graphite and licorice develop in the glass as this beautifully-balanced wine struts its stuff. Ideally a few years of bottle age are warranted, but this wine is so appealing at the moment that readers might have a hard time waiting. I am confident that in a few years this wine will be even better. The wine's finesse, tannins and texture are clearly those of a first class wine .
87 Points - Wine Advocate Poliziano's 2007 Rosso di Montepulciano is a straightforward, accessible red with excellent balance and plenty of depth in its fruit.
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2007 - 91 points, Wine Enthusiast/ Poliziano consistently delivers smooth and rich expressions that show the best of Montepulciano. Aromas include black berry, cherry, smoked spice, leather and moist tobacco. Pair this wine with stewed veal.
Asinone Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2007 - 2010 Tre Bicchieri Award/ Tre Bicchieri for Asinone, a result that leaves no doubts on the quality of this splendid wine.
