Poggio Al Tesoro Solosole 2009
Solosole offers delicate aromas of acacia flowers, apricots and banana. The vibrant acidity frames the fruity flavors and lingers pleasantly on the finish. This is the wine of choice for seafood antipasti, pasta with shellfish, omelets, soft goat cheese, fish dishes and vegetables.
Editorial Reviews for Poggio Al Tesoro Solosole
Seashells, dried melon, dried lime peel and shadings of chive come together on an appealing bouquet. On the pale this offers up an odd blend of mineral, almost salty seashell flavors with a rather rich, and slightly viscous core of apricot fruit. A touch heavy and clumsy on the palate with a certain creaminess up front, this just doesn’t come together for me. 82pts
