Reviews

Not an overwhelming juniper presence in this gin. Lemon and orange peels add a nice citrusy aroma and taste while Angelica root provide the distinct dryness.

The body is medium, and initially fairly fruity, the intensely dry juniper character soon comes into play.

A good solid, neutral gin, without too much of any particular botanical or citrus. I like it, among other purposes, for a drink I call the Stiles (4 parts Plymouth, 1 part Lillet blanc, 1 part St. Germain liqueur). Irrelevant anecdote: the excellent Eastern Standard restaurant and bar in Boston refers to this as "the Spirit of Plymouth" on their menus.

A great depth of flavour, with a wonderfully fresh juniper, lemony bite with deeper earthy notes. It has a slight sweetness with extraordinary concentration and complexity. No single botanical dominates the overall flavour. The finish is long and dry.
