Platinum Bench Gamay Noir 2011

Member Review by zufrieden:

A new winery near Oliver BC Canada, Platinum Bench grows Gamay from 19 year old vines and the results are good: from an ordinary BC vintage we have good colour, with a nose of raspberry, pomegranate and a hint of cherry followed by a slightly spiced raspberry on the palate with good balance and muted acidity (uncommon with BC examples of Gamay). Finish is medium, firm and with sufficient depth to compare with a Beaujolais-Village. Very well done: 86 points.
