Deep but closed nose. A big, chewy mouthful with lots of good fruit and big, slightly coarse tannins. It has very good length and aftertaste. This needs several years.

Deep red hues. Complex spice, vanilla, wild berries, which is accompanied by some earthy characters. A rich medium style with lovely fruit and spice characters which have been well integrated by 18 months of barrel maturation in all French oak. A complex wine, which has great palate structure and length. Drinkable now, will reward for 10 years.
