Plaisir de Siaurac Lalande de Pomerol Pre-Arrival 2009
Drink between 2013-20151/4/2013 - APARDOE WROTE: 90 Points Chalky with soft tannins. Dark purple, well-balanced acids. Not a lot of fruit--you can barely tell it's a Merlot. Wonderfully subtle smells. Do you find this review helpful? It's also way too young, could use another12 plus months on its side before it's popped. Some of these characteristics are denfinitely from the power of the '09 vintage, but it needs some balance on its palate attack, and I don't see age giving it the balance it will need. At this price, it is pretty much a steal, too.
