Clear and very pale color in the glass. Blossoming flowery bouquet. Quite disappointing on the tip of the tongue (watery), but as it moves across the palate terrific fruit and flavors emerge. At touch of bitterness, but that dissipates quickly. Somewhat lemony with concommitant acid that makes it a good food accompaniment. Best part might be the finish where the citrus emerges and gives a nice final memory. US$13.99 (Did I pay too much?) at Claro's Italian Deli in Arcadia. On thinking about it I should have saved this until Sunday. Then I could have enjoyed Placido on Domingo.
