Pisano Tannat Río de Los Pájaros Reserve 2009

Member Review by EMark:

Inky dark in the glass.Volatile, somewhat threatening nose--seems alcoholic--some woody, weedy hints. Very earth, minerally on the palate. Puckery tannins around the edges. Nice acid. Alcohol that I feared on the nose is not on the palate. This is a wine that is begging for food to accompany. Grilled steak, tonight. So, I am predicting that this will be fine.

Blood red to deep burgandy in color. Medium bodied with intense red fruits. Pairs well with a juicy steak. Long finish
