As a person that normally does not go for sparkling wine, I find this Brut from Sonoma Valley quite delicious and count it among some of the best California sparkling wines available. The unique blend of grapes results is a unique taste while the vineyards adherence to traditional methode Champagne standards offer a taste of old world style. Lively and vivacious, it is best by itself as a celebratory sparkling wine, but has the potential to be a great base in mixed drinks such as a Christmas Poinsettia Cocktail or mimosa.
Piper-Sonoma Brut was my personal upgrade from Korbel Brut for my everyday champagne. It is better with food than by itself. I find it dryyy, but not too dry.

A pale gold color, petite bubbles and delicate aromas of ripe apple, toast and peach.
Rustic and rough in the mouth, but shows basic Champagne-style dryness and yeastiness, with pleasant citrus flavors. Good price for an everyday sparkler.
Dried peach and apple aromas open this round, even sparkler. An earthy note, and an element that seemed herbal to some tasters, leafy or green to others, shows early on and persists throughout. The bead is fine and even, and the wine is soft on the palate. A straightforward brut, but on the earthy side.
