Food Pairings for Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Rose Sauvage Champagne
Straw golden with a broad stream of pinpoint bubbles, aromas of creme brulee and baked apples, creamy star fruit and honeyed caramel notes linger elegantly.
Amazingly deep intense ruby colour (like its a Kia Royale) but quite sweet and not many bubbles seen.
This wine was a pale straw color in the glass. The nose has some nice aromas of biscuit, yeast, and minerals. Nice medium mousse on the palate with potent acidity. Citrus fruit notes throughout. Nice long finish that goes on for a minute or so. I like the way the flavors and components fit together and balance each other out in this wine. Very good, 4+ out of 5. This wine can sometimes be found on special for less than $30, which presents a great quality to price ratio.
delicious. i second the not too many bubbles, which is find with me. Dry for a rosé.
Brilliant, dark, almost magenta in color. A very lively wine.

Thereandrsquo;s lovely texture and integration to this vinous rosandeacute;, which displays nut-tinged flavors of grilled plum, black cherry preserves, cream, toasted brioche and sweet smoke. Long and mouthwatering, with a lingering, spice-tinged finish. Drink now through 2020. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
Elegant and firm in a chalky way, with intense cherry and berry flavors that linger on the finish. Balanced, if stern, with a crisp finish. Drink now through 2011.
Rich, offering pure cherry, with a vibrant structure backing it up and a firm, chalky finish. This is fresh and ideal as an aperitif. Drink now through 2010.
The non-vintage Piper-Heidsieck Brut is soft but still very dry, with acidity tamed by both fine, mature fruit and a creamy texture; a very fine, tasty wine.
Deeply colored and intense, this feels like a good amount of still red was added. Black cherry and blackberry flavors ride the smooth mousse, and thereandrsquo;s also a hint of tannins. Drink now through 2010.
Lovely fruit. Smells and tastes like macerated berries accented by dough. Firm and slightly grainy in texture on a medium-bodied frame. Drink now.
Bright, almost lurid pink. Fresh and expressive on the nose, with gaudy cherry, raspberry jam, tangerine and spice aromas. Fat and round but braced by good acidity and showing brisk flavors of blood orange, bitter cherry and wild strawberry. Finishes velvety-smooth and long. Thereandrsquo;s nothing shy about this one.
