A Slightly oaky nose showing aromas of vanilla and toasted coffee bean over tight, earthy hints of used leather and soil driven spices. Shallow, with a meaty edge and taut in the mouth, this shows a nice prune and cherry in alcohol palate with plenty of leather and nice fine grained rather classic tannins that make this a little tough and austere on the finish, Smells attractive if a bit rustic, with nice cut, a bit small scaled but complete. 90pts
