Nose of lemongrass and citrus tones with minerality and some hints of melon. Creamy on the palate. Lovely acidity and bright citrus fruits with vanilla tones.
An easy to drink, nice dry white wine. Lots of fresh flavors such as peaches, melons and honeysuckle. Starts off with some sweet melon flavors on the palate. The middle and back end have lots of peachs, honeysuckle and more melons. The wine is dry, but the flavors are 'sweet'. Very refreshing and at a fantastic price point. This is a nice wine to have for a cook-out with friends are not wine drinkers.
Not terrible, but not great. It was a little too far on the sweet side, and that sweet was a very artificial taste.
Depending on it's availability, I may make this one of my favorite Summer wines this year. I like Chenin Blanc. This is a nice example and I also really like Voignier. I think the two are a dynamite combo. This is a nice wine to sit and relax with. I had it with my home made fish and chips last evening. Very nice.

This remarkable cuvee has been a great value for thrifty consumers for a number of years. The 2010 Chenin Blanc-Viognier (79% of the former and 21% of the latter) sells for a preposterously low price. Moreover, it is a 50,000 case lot so there is wide availability. Wonderfully crisp, elegant, fresh honeydew melon, spring flower, white peach and honeysuckle aromas soar from the glass of this zesty, dry, medium-bodied white wine. The melon character follows through on the palate of this pure, delicious, screw cap-finished effort. Enjoy it over the next year.
A spicy, fruit blend, but with enough acidity top keep it dry and refreshing. The flavors range from peach to apple, to melon and lemon-lime. Long and clean on the finish.
