"Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the October 2010 issue. Ripe and energetic fruit is buttressed by suggestions of toast and roasted grains in the nose

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the October 2010 issue. Ripe and energetic fruit is buttressed by suggestions of toast and roasted grains in the nose, and if the wine displays an early bit of roundness on the palate, it is not a round wine but a firm, quite well-balanced, almost brisk effort overall. Its fruit keeps going all the way to the end and provides the platform that prevents late-arriving acidity from taking control. Drinkable now with shellfish, it can get better with a bit of aging.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
