Winemakers Notes

The Sassolino was made exclusively from grapes grown on the Pietra Santa estate. Sassolino means little stone in Italian, a reference to our gravel-rich soils. This estate-produced Super Tuscan blend has robust fruit and tastes of black cherry with hints of chocolate and oak, finished with soft round tannins.Blend: 44% Sangiovese, 41% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
