Piesporter Michelsberg Qba Sonnengarten Schmitt Sohne 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Piesporter Michelsberg QbA is a beautiful fragrant, medium bodied wine with up front fruit that continues to develop on the palate. Hints of peaches and green apples are balanced perfectly with crisp acidity to provide a clean and fresh finish. Ideal by itself or to complement a variety of meat and seafood dishes.
Schmitt-Söhne is a large company that produces wines throughout Germany. They are best known for their Rieslings, produced in different regions within the country and from dry to sweet. They also make wines from different varietals in red, white, rosé and sparkling, also from dry to sweet.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
This wine is pretty good. I prefer the "relax" brand from Schmitt Sohne. I really like the German rieslings, and this one it up there with wines I would recommend. The quality is great for the price.
