Pierre Gaillard Robert Pages Banyuls Rouge NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Aged in the traditional way in glass bonbonnes which are exposed to the sun to achieve rancio characters, Banyuls "Traditionnel" is a blend of Grenache, Grenache Gris and Carignan. With 80 g/l residual sugar, the Robert Pages is a lovely, rich wine with complex aromas of dried figs, bitter orange, coffee, vanilla and spices. The palate is opulent and round with a sweet, warm finish. Should be excellent with blue cheeses such as Roquefort.
