Having been involved in the development of La Turque at Maison Guigal, Pierre<br/>Gaillard is more than familiar with the interplay between oak and fine<br/>Côte-Rôtie. This is perfectly demonstrated here with notes of<br/>tapenade, smoky bacon and violets lifted somewhat ethereally by 10% Viognier.<br/>There was no Rose Pourpre made in 2008, so these finest grapes, mainly from the<br/>commune of Les Roziers, have all been added to the blend, lending weight and<br/>authority. Drink 2012-2017.
