Pierre Amadieu Pierre Amadieu les Caladières Crozes Hermitage Rouge 2007
On the nose, black currant, raspberries fragrances together with a hint of violet are very typical of Syrah wines. Delicate, the mouth is silky but powerful showing red fruits notes, tannins are round and soft. The colour is deep and the alcohol content is low moving to truffles and mushroom aromas after few years.Taste and appreciate this beautiful wine at room temperature (17°C) while young or within the following 6 years. This charming wine will match perfectly with a roasted beef in sauce or a veal escalope on fresh vegetables.

This Rhône red offers a nose of lovely sun-ripened strawberries, which give way to darker fruits and hints of licorice, herbs and pepper. Moderate tannins and a rustic, pastoral feel make this wine a perfect match for lamb or venison accompanied by grilled or roasted summer vegetables.

Great care was taken in making this blend of Syrah (80%) and Grenache (20%). Remarkably rich and full-bodied, with heady aromas of roasted meat, olives and black pepper. Complex and elegant, it has medium-soft tannins and a juicy finish. Serve with pan roasted rack of lamb and root vegetables.
This offers a ripe, plump core of mulled spice, melted black licorice and dark plum and blackberry fruit, all mingling together through the toast-framed finish. Drink now.
We are fans of this producer and their many expressions from the Rhone’s greatest areas. This brand new release from the legendary 2007 vintage has been set aside for long aging, and reveals tremendous power, complexity, barrel character and style that rivals other wines from the area, and puts most Châteaneuf-du-Pape to shame.
Shows the heady ripeness of the vintage, with lots of velvety-textured layers of fig sauce, blackberry paste, melted black licorice and fruitcake. A singed mesquite thread keeps the finish honest. For the hedonist crowd. Drink now through 2017.
