Wonderfully fresh and fragrant. Aromas of pear and peach with lavender and a bit of fresh cut grass. On the palate it shows finesse and vibrancy with apple and lemon with minerals showing on the finish. Paired perfectly with a pumpkin ravioli in sage butter sauce.
A golden yellow color and the appearance of a heavy viscosity in the glass. The first thought that comes to mind on the nose is Vin Santo with baked apples, caramel and vanilla. Amazing how this light white could appear so heavy and then smell like my favorite dessert wine. The palate is where you realize what you're really drinking with a brisk acidity and flavors of Melon, Apple and flint fill your mouth. The finish is quite short but the impression this wine left went on for hours.

Subtle aromas of peaches, honey and limes. Medium- to full-bodied, with dried fruit and a lively, fresh aftertaste. Delicious. Always one of the best Soaves. Drink now.
Aromas and flavors of mixed citrus fruits, with light heather and mineral notes. Medium-bodied, with a fresh, balanced palate and a persistent, almond-tinged mineral finish. Lacks a bit of a midpalate. Drink now.
The 2007 Soave Classico is the estate's entry-level wine. A blend of 85% Garganega and 15% Trebbiano, it spends just a few months in large, neutral oak. This is a classy, elegant Soave redolent of ripe peaches, smoke and earthiness. Made in a taut, focused style, it possesses excellent depth and lovely overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011.
Not your grandmother's Soave, this is fully loaded, from its charming, fresh aromas of peaches and orange blossoms to its plump, fleshy flavors of stone fruits. And it's all backed by bracing acidity that keeps the ripe flavors lively right through the long, minerally finish.
Run by owners Nino and Teresita Pieropan, this estate typically produces outstanding wines from this often lackluster Veneto appellation. The wine is made from a blend of 90 percent Garganega and 10 percent Trebbiano grapes grown in hillside vineyards with volcanic soils.
Medium body and fruit. Full acidity. Citrus, earth, herbs. An elegant Soave, with good chewy fruit and vibrant acidity throughout.
Clear light gold. Delicate floral and white fruit scents. Crisp, dry flavors follow the nose - figs and dates and elusive hints of banana and almonds riding on a crispy acidic structure with a pleasant hint of bitterness in the finish.
