What to Expect

Going by many names, Moscato Bianco, Muscat de Frontignan and Muscat Canelli among the most common, this aromatic grape produces wines that are characterized by floral aromas with peach and citrus flavors. Widely used in Italy for lightly sparkling, or Frizzante wines, the most famous of which is Asti Spumante.

Editorial Reviews

The nose here was intense with freshly grated lime zest over cut grass. This smelled sweet but was dry on the palate with a little bit of that 03 heat showing but a very nice, powerful dry Muscat. 88pts

Classic muscat - like nose, extremely floral and grapey. Crisp, dry, Medium + body and somewhat unctuous. Does not demonstrate that it's 5 + years old, still quite fresh. lengthy finish.

An unbelievably powerful nose of grape jelly. It's such rich and aromatic on the nose that you're surprised when the wine is dry. Very nice - a dry, crisp wine with surprisingly robust acidity. Raisins and peppermint on the finish

Sweet floral aromas -- yellow flowers in a grass field. Flavors are light with a bit of an herbal wash and some tropical fruits, mostly banana. It's light bodied and quite dry.
