Food Pairings for Pezat Bordeaux Blanc
In addition to the black fruit that others have mentioned, I also encountered a strong melon element in this wine. I lacks a little on the finish due to the tannins, but overall this is one of the better wines I've tried. I would definitely recommend it, and it can stand up to some spicy food. This is a wine to enjoy now, not for the cellar.
<p>Wine production at Chateau Teyssier began in 1714, when the property was just a small farm. In 1869, historian Jules Roy improved the condition of the vineyards and built the large chateau on the property, but it was not until 1994 that Jonathan Maltus significantly modernized, renovated, and expanded the winery.</p>
