Some sweet cherry and grape stem on the nose while the palate receives blueberry, bilberry and plum in abundance. There is some tickling of the tongue by slightly acerbic tannin suggests a little structure – and indeed, there is some sediment upon decanting. Quite firm, well-made, and right-bank in style, this wine is good value for money. Not a lot of complexity, but good Bordeaux (Merlot) flavors in abundance. With the high production of this estate, you may even find a bottle or two. 86 points.

Not impressive. 2003 still too young or/and maybe not good enough at all to accompany a lovely wagyu entrecote in michelin-two-starred restaurant 't Brouwerskolkje in Overveen (The Netherlands)
