($70) Good bright, pale yellow. Subdued but pure aromas of peach, nectarine, orange rind, rose petal and lichee. Although rather backward, this began suppler than the Carriere despite conveying an impression of solid acidity. Very dry and sophisticated chardonnay with excellent length. I found myself raising my score every time I went back to this wine, which gained sweetness with aeration.
