Peter Lehmann Vsv 1885 Shiraz

External Review by Great Wines Direct:

Deep red in colour with an almost black centre, dark cherry and chocolate leading to soft tannins and great length of flavour. There are vineyards spotted throughout the Barossa and beyond that history tells us to keep an eye on as the fruit that comes to bear carries with it certain presence and pedigree. The Very Special Vineyard Series showcases the diversity of the Barossa and surrounding landscape, with each wine demonstrating the true varietal characters and unique terroir of the vineyards from which they are born. Grapes : 100% Shiraz Region : Australia / Barossa / Eden Valley Maker : Andrew Wigan Notes : A wonderful deep red in colour with an almost black centre. The nose displays dark cherry and chocolate which leads to a stylish palate with soft tannins and great length of flavour. Serve : Ideal pairing with beef dishes, barbecued Chorizo sausage steak or hearty casseroles. ABV : 14.50%
