Add your reviewTypical Lehmann Shiraz. As the German reviewer indicates, there is a lot of plum preserve with some chocolate and (perhaps) some vanilla. The bouquet has cola notes as well with the usually dark cherry and hint of cigar tobacco. A bit warm on entry - like many in this style - but balanced and structured to age for a few more years. Suggest to pair with hearty BBQ fare during the summer.
A blend of Barossa Shiraz 43%, Cabernet Sauvignon 42% and Merlot 15%. The bottle label says "Clancy’s has established itself as Australia’s Legendary Red." While it might not be the wine of Legends, Clancy's is decent enough for the price. Dark purple color with aromas of ripe fruit- blackberry and cherries, which also dominate on the palate. The flavors are definitely fruit-forward though hints of vanilla, black pepper and a bit of leather and tobacco are evident. There are relatively soft tannins and a medium-long finish.
This wine was a nice surprise - found at wine night at Minerva's, a midwestern restaurant chain. I think it has a wonderful complex and full mouth flavor, very interesting and enjoyable with a meal or without. Smooth tannins, definitely not boring.

The supple, gently tannic finish emphasizes sweet dark berry, roasted coffee and oak spice flavors. 90 points

Tief granatrote Farbe, in der Nase sehr fruchtig mit würzigen Komponenten und ein wenig dunkler Schokolade. Im Gaumen ausgewogene Harmonie zwischen Frucht und Würze, mit langem Nachhall.
Tiefrote Farbe, in der Nasen Anklänge von Minze und dunkler Schokolade. Im Mund präsentiert er sich geschmeidig mit Noten von dunklen Früchten. Ein neuer Top-Shiraz aus dem Barossa Valley, dessen Reben 1885 gepflanzt wurden und somit die ältesten Reben des Tals sind.
