Peter Lehmann Shiraz Barossa Valley Eight Songs 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

91 pts Wine Spectator Smart Buys 5/31/09 Ripe and round this is generous with its smoky cherry and black currant flavors persisting against mildy grippy tannins to create a long layered finish. Best from 2010 through 2016.Winemaker's Notes: The wine has a deep center with a dark red rim. The bouquet shows lashings of classical Barossa Shiraz chocolate and plum aromas given a gentle life from the well seasoned French oak notes. It is a robustly structured wine with a mouth-filling generous fruit clothing its firm muscularity. It finishes firm with powdery tannins. It is a fine example of Barossa Shiraz from a top vintage year.

Langer Abgang.
