Peter Lehmann Grenache Barossa Rosé 2008
The Cabernet grapes selected for this wine were harvested early and in the cool of the night in order to retain maximum freshness and delicacy. Once the fruit is harvested it needs meticulous and watchful winemaking during the fermentation process to give a wine of clarity with an excellent structure. The wine is run off the red grape skins early and cold fermented, thus its lively colour and delicious aromas of freshly picked raspberries. Rose petals and aromas of raspberries on the nose. Deliciously crisp, with delightful flavours of freshly picked summer berries, and a superbly clean finish. Serve lightly chilled with an Antipasto platter, fresh figs or goat's curd and prosciutto salad.
