When once asked why the Barossa could make so many different wines, Peter Lehmann replied, “Because we can!” - testament to the Barossa’s viticultural heritage, its ability to excel across a variety of wines and its reputation as Australia’s greatest winemaking region. This fine example, made from the noble Chenin Blanc grape is a delicate green gold in colour. It has lifted fresh aromatics with beautiful notes of freshly peeled apple. Zingingly crisp on the palate with a fine natural acidity and fiishing superbly dry, it sings of pure refreshment. Serve lightly chilled. Its zestiness makes it an ideal accompaniment to fresh seafood and light salads. Chenin Blanc, like great Riesling is capable of developing superbly in the bottle over time.
