14% a.b.v. 750mL bottle ripe fish. defiently a bit of meaty/earthy/animal smell to it. First wiff, I thought, fish. hmmm...after a couple seconds of thinking I get the salami/pepperoni/pizza meat scent. nice. Deep ruby color, a pronounced nose. Perhaps some dried red fruit. now, to drink. maybe it'll be better with food. Not bad. I get a bit of sour fruit at the start, but as I swish it around and slurp, it gets more fruity. maybe it's the glass. medium body. med acid. med tannins. Getting some darker plum, raspberry I like the aftertaste - the finish. Gets more enjoyable as it lingers.
Three and a half glasses
