Peter Lehmann Art Series Moscato Still

External Review by Great Wines Direct:

A 5th generation Barossan, Peter Lehmann was the son of a Pastor and was born in Angaston in 1930. He started wine-making in 1947 under the mentorship of the great Rudi Kronberger, moving on after thirteen years to become manager and wine producer at Saltram Wines. His own estate was founded in 1979, to support the Barossa growers facing financial ruin due to overproduction, and he soon became acknowledged as a producer of premium quality wines gaining an international reputation and following. James Halliday, the eminent wine writer said "It's not often a person becomes a legend in their own lifetime" Grapes : 100% Moscato Region : Australia / Barossa Maker : Andrew Wigan Notes : Lightly spritzed for adding zing, this wine has enticing and distinct tropical aromas. The palate is refreshingly zippy and crisp, and finishes with a touch of naturally retained grape sweetness. Best served chilled . Serve : The ideal partner for light desserts, fruit salads, peaches or enjoyed on its own. ABV : 10.00%
