Pesquie Viognier Vin de Pays 2007

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Far less aromatic than one would expect. Subdued nose. It has a lovely perfume on the palate of melon, flowers, honey, etc. it dies have a richness to the feel. The only thing that was a bit odd for me, is this has a soapy quality that some Viognier wines have. I can accept it's part of it, just a bit odd and noticeable.. All in all, good wine. 6/9/12

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
