History Tony and Connie Perrini established Perrini Estate Winery in 1997. Situated in the Adelaide Hills wine region in South Australia, Perrini Estate is a small, family owned premium wine producer. Prior to starting Perrini Estate wines and vineyards, Tony and Connie had an extensive retailing background in South Australia. This has provided them with a strong sense of customer service, high work ethic and business knowledge that is crucial when managing and growing a successful wine business. However, the lure of making wine was strong for Tony Perrini. Born in Italy and migrating to Australia in 1959, Tony stems from a family that made wine for generations and was part of everyday life. It was his dream to own a winery and produce wines, especially full flavoured red wines, utilising tradtional winemaking techniques. In 1997 they purchased a 35-acre property nested in the Adelaide Hills, just east of the McLaren Vale wine region. They sold their retail business to begin full time in their new venture, Perrini Estate Wines. The People Perrini Estate is a privately owned, family business. Through maintaining direct control over the business and its future, great emphasis is placed on providing commitmentand service to their customers and producing premium wines. Tony Perrini - Winemaker and Managing Director Tony Perrini is the Managing Director and Winemaker. As the Winemaker for Perrini Estate, Tony's winemaking philosophy is to produce handmade, quality wines that represent regional variety and flavour. Tony has studied winemaking, however, much of his experience comes from practical experience and knowledge gained from his family in Italy. The wineshow awards and wine reviews are testament to his success and commitment as a premium winemaker. To date, Tony has achieved two silver medals, one of which was International and twelve bronze medals. Connie Perrini - Marketing Manager Connie manages the cellar door at Perrini Estate and ensures customers receive the highest level of customer service both at cellar door and to the trade.
