Winemaker's Notes:

The Perrin family, who are coming up to celebrating 100 years since their family started at Château de Beaucastel, are world famous for the wines of that Château but are becoming increasingly known also for wines under the Perrin & Fils label. The idea was to build on their winemaking knowledge to make other fine wines in the Southern Rhône in an attempt to show off the area’s extraordinary breadth of different soils and grape varieties. This 2009 Cotes de Luberon white displays a bright yet pale yellow colour with hints of green. The nose offers distinct aromas of green fruit, corn and hazelnuts, leading to a palate that is wonderfully balanced, soft and delicoulsy aromatic. Best served chilled, this great value wine is excellent with hors-d'oeuvre, cold meats or fish, or simply on its own as an aperitif.
