Founded in Epernay, France in 1811, Perrier-Jouët owns 108 hectares of vineyards located in the heart of the Champagne region The Cuvée Belle Epoque (known as Fleur de Champagne in America) was created in 1964 after Pierre Ernst found an original Emile Gallé bottle made in the Art Nouveau style in 1902. A master glass-maker reproduced the raised enamel decoration in order to create a celebration of the spirit of this imaginative and decadent age. In 1990, the Perrier-Jouët's 18th Century family house on the Avenue de Champagne became the Maison Belle Epoque, housing the worlds leading collection of original Art Nouveau works. Grapes : Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Region : France / Champagne AOC Notes : Soft notes of fresh flowers on the nose and honey and lemon married with the aromas of fresh fruits such as plums and pineapple. The flavour confirms the richness of the bouquet, with a light but lively initial freshness and an elegant floral finish. Serve : Great as an aperitif, or with entrees and canopes at any social gathering! ABV : 12%

In 1990, the Perrier-Jouëts 18th Century family house on the Avenue de Champagne became the Maison Belle Epoque, housing the worlds leading collection of original Art Nouveau works. Vintage: 2002 Grapes: A high proportion of Chardonnay from Cramant and Avize; Pinot Noir from Mailly, Verzenay, Verzy and Bouzy; Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir from Dizy. An average classification of 99.2% on the scale of crus. Vintage: was deemed to be a great vintage, perhaps the vintage of the 20th Century. Producers said they had not seen the like since 1955, and thought quality surpassed the 85 and 90 vintages. Unlike so many vintages in the first half of the 90s, the harvest was not spoiled by rain; heavy rain occurred in August but the perfect ripening conditions which followed in September saved the day. Sugar: 9.6g/l. Pressure: 6 kg at 20°C. Colour: Bright greenish/gold with fine regular bubbles. Taste: Soft notes of white flowers on the nose and honey and lemon married with the aromas of fresh fruits such as plums and pineapple. The flavour confirms the richness of the bouquet, with a light but lively initial freshness and an elegant floral finish.
