Chocolate and dark fruit aromas. A little spicy, but very well balanced. Fruity, but very pleasant supporting tannins.
Deep rich black pepper, almond, spice and ripe cherry aromas. Full of fruit - a big splash of blackberry and licorice, good tannic structure but mostly it's a fruit driven palate. Good toast flavors as well.
WHOA Hotty! Deep and rich berry and chocolate notes on the nose leads to some serious oak on the palette, though some deep red fruit abounds and lingers. Structured and intense, this is an ideal food (red meat, pungent cheese) wine!
Pepper and dark cherries on the nose. a bit of a spicy palate with hints of licorice and dark fruits. I would love to enjoy another glass of this wine in front of a winter fire with some meats and cheeses.
Deep, garnet color, smells like chewy tannis...and a little beefy. Subtle oak and cedar notes with dark fruit flavors on the palate.
I thought this was a wonderfully balanced wine--I liked all the fruit, and I felt like the acid rounded out the palate.
