What to Expect

Pedro Ximénez is a grape that is rarely used to produce a dry table wine, but is used to produce many of Spain's finest sweet Sherries. As a table wine it is high in acid and rather light but when the grapes are used to make Sherry, frequently referred to simply as PX, the wines gain incredible deep, rich flavors of figs, raisins, molasses, nuts and chocolate.

Great PX. I found it leagues beyond the Osborne entry level PX. Tastes like good candy. Smells of raisins. Flavors of exotic woods, coffee, chocolate, toffee. Very thick, sweet and elegant. A great dessert wine.
Pairs very nicely with Daphne baking company macadamia nut tart (and good dark chocolate).
