Currant, raisin, violet and blackberry flavors are intense in the good-value Merlot, which finishes with solid tannins and nicely integrated tones of mocha and coffee that linger. Drink now through 2005.
Ripe, with concentrated black cherry, chocolate and pomegranate tones. Impressive fruit intensity folds into toasty oak and supple structure on the fine finish. Drink now through 2007.
A careful selection of the wine lots that went into the final blend enabled the winemaker to emphasize the soft berry fruit and round tannins that have made this their most popular wine.
