Pennywise California Petite Sirah 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Inky purple color, aromas of blueberry cobbler, fresh figs, and black raspberry jump from the glass. In the mouth, this Petite Sirah shows the depth from old vine Petite Sirah in Lodi as well as Paso Robles. The flavors show wild Maine blueberry with flickering flavors of sweet leather, raspberry jam, and sweet cinnamon latte. This wine finishes with lingering blackberry, balsamic glaze, bittersweet chocolate, and smoked caramel.
