Rich in color. Dark cherry scent with a hint of licorice and spice. Slightly musty. Rich, velvety and smooth. It was pleasant rolling on the tongue.

A sharp and fruity taste, medium- to full-bodied taste. It went fantastic with some nice sharp cheese. In our group both those who drink wine and those who do not regularly drink wine like this. This is a great deal at $8 a bottle.

Coming from Penfolds' Koonunga Hill Series, this Shiraz show expressive fruit in multi-layers. Great with all of types of food. Blackberries, blueberries, and cherry blended with toasted vanilla notes.

Nice aroma, very fruit forward! Tastes of dark fruit that is rounded out by solid tannins but not harsh. Nor does it leave your mouth dry. Short finish
