Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet 2003

Winemaker's Notes:

"This classic Australian wine from Penfolds has been enhanced by oak maturation, the oak providing a framework which allows the warm peppery Shiraz flavours to fully integrate with the berry fruits of Cabernet Sauvignon. Ideal for drinking now, this well-structured wine will also reward careful medium-term cellaring. "

Smooth, appealing for its lightly spicy mix of blackberry and toasty oak flavor, lingering on the fine-grained finish. Drink now through 2008. 14,000 cases imported. -HS Wine Spectator. A Syrah wine from South Australia in Australia. 2003 Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz 375ml
