First of all, the color is a deep lush garnet red, almost black. The aroma is earthy and leathery. However, the flavor has just a tiny sweet lining, with an intense dark berry flavor - like black cherry and black berries, then ends off with a smokey whisper. This is a seriously intense and punched-in-the-face-with-flavor wine. To be eaten with bold and flavorful foods only.
