I will never cease to be amazed at the talent of winemaking that I see coming from really boutique wineries. This Zin while rich and characteristic, was not overpowering in it's fruit. Somewhere beneath the black berries and licorice there was a smokiness that gave this New World wine a bit of an Old World style. It was graceful and the mouthfeel was more delicate that some Zins. Fantastic wine which will only get better!

A select blend of 77% Zinfandel and 23% Petite Sirah From Ponzo vineyard. This wine offers a full bodied explosion of dark fruit with vibrant acidity as well as copious quantities of heady fruit with a complex finish. Great food wine with 14.5% alcohol.
