Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

The deep ruby/garnet color matches the dark berry, cherry, and black currants that are present upon the first sip. The finish is dominated by American oak and subtle hints of chocolate and pepper. A great buy and a great match with grilled or smoked meats.

Pretty nice for young Syrah grown on the hot plains of Spain. The nose provides more than adequate plum, blackberry and bacon, and the palate is definitely lively, with black cherry and raspberry flavors. A ripe wine with chocolate and balance.

Fairly deep and dark, with ripe plum and blackberry aromas. Transitions to meaty black cherry and plum flavors, which are followed by a round finish accented by chocolate and mocha. Medium to full-bodied; good value in basic red wine.
