Food Pairings for Peller Estates Chardonnay Niagara Peninsula Vqa Private Reserve
12/17/2011 2009 vintage Rich and fresh acidity gives way to crisp apples and pears with subtle oak toastiness, vanilla, and a smooth citrusy finish. Medium body, Medium acidity with a smooth long finish. One of the best expressions of a poor 2009 Ontario vintage, but this chardonnay seems to have had no harmful effects. This style of Chardonnay really reminds me of some Chablis producers and would go really well with a lot of seafood dishes including lobsters with butter!
